Who we are

Levels & Leaderboards ("the app") is operated by Podium — Levels & Leaderboards, registered in the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce / KvK 92815111) ("we"). The app adds points, levels and leaderboards to Whop communities. For any privacy question or request, contact us at hi@futureproofmarketer.com.

We act as a processor/service provider for the community owner who installs the app, and as a controller for the limited account data needed to run the service.

What we collect

• Whop profile basics: your Whop user ID, username, display name and avatar URL, provided by Whop when you use a community that has the app installed.
• Activity events: records that you earned or lost points — the action type (e.g. chat message, reaction received, lesson completed), the points amount, a timestamp, and technical references such as message or lesson IDs.
• Community configuration: the point rules, level names, timezone and plan chosen by the community owner, plus an audit log of changes made by admins (including the reason an admin gives for a manual point adjustment).

What we deliberately do not collect

• Message content is not stored. When scoring a chat message we read it transiently to check its length, then discard it. Our database keeps only the message ID and the points awarded.
• No email addresses, phone numbers or payment details. Payments for paid plans are processed entirely by Whop.
• No advertising trackers and no sale of data — ever.

How we use data

Solely to run the product: calculating points and levels, showing leaderboards, enforcing anti-spam limits, sending level-up notifications through Whop, letting community admins manage their leaderboard, and billing communities on paid plans.

Where data lives

Data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase in the European Union (AWS eu-west-1) and served through Vercel. Whop provides the platform, authentication and payment processing. These providers process data on our behalf under their own data-processing agreements.

The app also stores a small marker in your browser's local storage to remember which level celebration you have already seen. This never leaves your device.

Retention & deletion

• Point history is kept for as long as the community has the app installed — the history is what makes leaderboards fair and auditable.
• When a community uninstalls the app, its data is deleted after a grace period of 90 days (kept in case of accidental uninstall).
• Members can ask their community owner — or us directly — to delete their personal data. We honour such requests within 30 days.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, and lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in the Netherlands: the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). Email us at hi@futureproofmarketer.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes

If we materially change this policy we will update the date above and announce the change in the app's dashboard before it takes effect.
